Quiko Special Red Egg food 5kg

Quiko Special R is a high-quality concentrate and rearing food for all red-ground bird species, such as red canaries, firefinches and woodland birds. It contains nutrients that young and adult birds need during breeding and moulting. Quiko Special R also contains canthaxanthin/carophyll and various vitamins and can be fed all year round as a condition feed. When rearing woodland birds, it is advisable to supplement Eggfood with animal protein (e.g. pinkies, buffalo or mealworms).

A varied diet is particularly important for your birds. Grain food contains little protein and essential vitamins. Pelleted and heated food offers no variety and is not very popular with birds. Therefore, supplement the conventional food with Quiko Eggfood and increase the protein and vitamin intake. As most birds eat Eggfood first, it is ideal for mixing in vitamins or medication if required.

Feeding Instruction:

During the breeding period, Quiko Special R should be fed daily and slightly moistened. During the showing and moulting period, Quiko Special R is fed 2 to 3 times a week as a condition feed.
